Messenger Angel Chapter TwoWe attended the opera that night, the phantom and I. Our box, box five, against his instructions, had been given to the very Raoul de Chagny, vicomte and patron of the theater. I felt a little sorry for the managers, despite myself. I knew that I was and always we would be in alliance with my phantom, but poor Andre and Firmin had no idea of the extent of the severity of their actions. Erik flew into rages at the tiniest inconvenience. They already had it coming to them.Messenger Angel Chapter Two
But until this was resolved, Erik, stubborn as he was, insisted that we crouch at the back of the box in the shadows of the curtains on the wall, unnoticed by al

Messenger Angel Chapter OneParis, 1870 I awoke to the sound of his music box tinkering a cheerful dance tune, while a little wind up monkey clapped along. I groaned and rolled over. He knew I hated that thing. Its unrelenting happiness was unwelcome when I was tired and wanted to be miserable. I'd almost smashed it on several occasions, but that would have made him sad, and I hated it when Erik was melancholy. He brought the entire lair down with him. Yes, for these past eight years I had been living with him, the Phantom of the Opera. I was his friend, his messenger, his maid. I did his chores around the opera house when he was buMessenger Angel Chapter One

Messenger AngelParis, 1863 The streets were dark near the opera house; only the sporadic illumination of the candles burning on the lamp posts lent any light. But sometimes even those guttered and I was left running blind, terrified and cold, from an evil I couldnt see. The evil was death, the cold fingers of which I had discovered smothering my older sister, the only person I had in this world. In a time when cholera plagued Paris and influenza could be fatal, spending nights on the dirty streets wasnt good for two young girls, but it was the only thing we had had. And now my sister had been taken from me, and somehow I knew that unMessenger Angel
Though Rush is a great band, one must admit that Geddy Lee sings like a little girl. Not that I could do any better, but just sayin' . . .
Norse mythology totally kicks classical mythology's butt! If I could be a god, I'd be Thor. He has a hammer . . .
Do you watch Survivorman? That guy is so frikkin' awesome. (More Canadians, coming down here and stealing our, um, uh, TV channel space!). Or MacGyver. MacGyver's cool, too.
I wrote an essay about myself: [link]
Never heard of Mastadon. I'm not a big David Bowie fan, but he's pretty cool. No, David Bowie couldn't beat Rush, because Geddy Lee would hold a high note for five minutes, thereby extinguishing all life in the universe! Or Neil Pert could beat him over the head with drumsticks. But then David Bowie would pull out some of his magical crystal spheres and put on a pair of rediculously tight pants, and I'm going to stop now.

So you like THAT kind of music. It's alright, but not my favorite. I'm a flaming Whitesnake fan, with Rush as a close second.
I don't have any real favorite "Artists". If I had to name a few right now, I'd say Neil Gaimon, Gary Larson, Aaron McGruder, and Bill Waterson.
I don't really watch that many cartoons (Nickelodeon and Disney have killed them), but if I had to pick someone I'd pick an anime character. Spike Speagal from Cowboy Beebop.
Well, there ya go. Now comment on MY profile!
P.S. If you've ever played Diablo II (video game. Terrible graphics, but fun to play), check this out. A story Ah done writ. [link]
